Fulton residents participated in the 10th annual Pumpkins in the Park Friday evening.

"It's a community thing and I love it," participant Joshua Preston said. "I just love going out and having fun. I'm glad they're doing it again this year and the weather is more comfortable."

Preston modeled his pumpkins after the Pharos of Alexandria, an long-destroyed lighthouse recognized as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

"I don't think anybody's ever used the Seven Wonders as inspiration for a jack o' lantern before, so I thought I'd do it," Preston said.

Visitors ranked their favorite pumpkins, choosing the scariest, biggest and most original.

The pumpkins will remain on display through Halloween Day.
