Sheriff's office makes seven arrests

The Callaway County Sheriff's Office recently made seven arrests - six on drug charges - during a three-day span, according to a department press release.

At 12:47 p.m. on Oct. 11, CCSO deputies conducted a criminal investigation in the 1600 block of Jade Road and located methamphetamine and other controlled substances. Paul Goldsmith, 42, of Moberly, was subsequently arrested.

Goldsmith was also found to have six felony warrants for this arrest in Randolph and Macon counties, referencing charges including burglary, stealing and forgery. Goldsmith was taken to the Callaway County Jail, where he remains in custody pending a bond post.

At 5:22 p.m. on Oct. 11, a CCSO deputy was patrolling Route O and stopped Tammy Manion, 53, of Fulton, for a traffic violation, and methamphetamine was subsequently located.

Manion was arrested and taken to the Callaway County Jail, where she was booked and processed for felony possession of a controlled substance and later released on a court summons.

At 1:36 a.m. on Oct. 10, a CCSO deputy was patrolling the area of Route F and County Road 232. A vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation and methamphetamine was subsequently located.

Brayden Landreth, 27, of Columbia, was arrested for felony offenses of delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance. Gerald Morrow, 27, of Columbia, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance.

Lisa Walker, 27, of Columbia, was also arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance. All three were booked and processed at the Callaway County Jail, where they remain in custody pending bond posts.

At 9:28 p.m. on Oct. 9, a CCSO deputy was patrolling County Road 276 and a vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation. Subsequently, Dylan Simmons, 24, of Boonville, was arrested for a Cooper County felony warrant for probation violation.

Simmons was taken to the Callaway County Jail, where he remains in custody pending transfer to Cooper County authorities.

At 7:37 a.m. on Oct. 9, a CCSO deputy conducted a criminal investigation in the 3000 block of Old Highway 40 and methamphetamine was recovered. Nicole Hill, 40, of Fulton, was arrested and taken to the Callaway County Jail.

Hill was booked and processed for felony possession of a controlled substance. She was later released on a court summons.
