Self-response and field data collection operations for the 2020 Census will conclude today.
U.S. Census officials said in a news release more than 99.9 percent of housing units have been accounted for in the 2020 Census as of Wednesday.
Internet self-response will be available across the nation tonight. If you haven't answered the Census questionnaire, visit 2020Census.gov to respond.
Phone response will be available by calling 844-330-2020. Paper responses must be postmarked by today.
Non-response followup census takers will continue resolving non-responding addresses through the end of the day.
Census takers ended field data collection Sept. 30, a month earlier than originally planned, in an effort to ensure the safety of staff and the public amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Self-response options also closed on that date.
As of Wednesday, Missouri's self-response rate for filling out census forms was 65.7 percent. In Cole County, the rate was 72.6 percent, 67.8 percent in Boone County, 66.5 percent in Callaway County, 51 percent in Maries County, 55.4 percent in Miller County, 65.8 percent in Moniteau County, 41.3 percent in Morgan County and 53.4 percent in Osage County.
