Auxvasse Christian Church

You are always welcome to church worship service at 9:45 a.m. Sunday with the Rev. Heather Patten, minister. The third Sunday of Advent will be observed. The Rev. Patten's message will be taken from Matthew 11:2-11, and is titled "Clear the Way." Psalm 146:5-10 will also be read during the service. Sunday school for all ages follows church service. Christmas stockings are being filled and will be taken to those who are in nursing homes or are home-bound. Church people are asked to bring items for the stockings. Dec. 22 will be a special church service with a Christmas program by our youth. A carry-in brunch will follow church service on that day. Richland Baptist Church (Kingdom City)

We invite you to join us from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Sunday for family groups and at 10:40 a.m. for worship, when Pastor Nick Drake preaches on "The God-Man" (John 1:14), considering the Christmas miracle of God taking on flesh and fulfilling his perfect plan of making the impossible possible. Join us again for our "Prayer & Praise" service at 6 p.m., when Nick will lead a short devotional on why believer's baptism by immersion is so important for the Christian faith. We also invite you for free supper at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, followed by activities for all ages and the adults' Bible study fellowship from 6:30-7:30 p.m., when Nick leads a lesson on the "why" and the "how" of godly counsel. St. Paul's Lutheran Church (Fulton)

We invite you to worship with us at 10:30 a.m. Sundays. This week's sermon, "Homecoming" continues our season of Advent look at the prophet Isaiah. Bible study is at 9:30 a.m. Sundays, for "The Gospel According to St. Luke." This class is an in-depth, verse-by-verse study based on the Greek with lots of topical discussion on how Scripture applies to life. Also, please join us for our midweek Advent services at 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays until Christmas. Court Street United Methodist Church (Fulton)

Join us at 10:45 a.m. Sunday for our worship gathering. Prior to our service time, we will have a time of fellowship with coffee and treats. Lighthouse Church (Kingdom City)

The church, located at 28448 County Road 147, welcomes you to join the 9 a.m. Connection Classes for all ages and worship at 10 a.m. Nursery is available for infants through preschool. On Sunday, the children will present their Christmas program during the service; on Wednesday, the Lighthouse 180 Christmas party is at 6:30 p.m., The Gathering Bible study is at 7 p.m.; on Friday, Red Cross Blood Drive is from 3-7 p.m.; and on Saturday, Men's Fellowship Breakfast is at 8 a.m.

First Presbyterian Church (Fulton)

The Rev. Aaron J. White invites all to join us as we gather Sunday for worship and praise in a special Christmas Cantata presented by the FPC Chancel Choir. Under the direction of choir director Ethan Forte, and accompanied by church organist Kelley Head with a string ensemble from the University of Missouri. The choir will be performing selections from Handel's Messiah. Join us at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday for study and discussion during Sunday school for all ages. Southside Baptist Church (Fulton)

On Sunday, our adult choir will be doing the cantata "Arrival." We will have Christmas caroling at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Our final Christmas programs will be a candle-lighting service at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve. We hope you can join us at 6 p.m. for these services and New Year's Eve for the Inheritance Quartet from Springfield. This is a wonderful way to bring in the new year. Everyone is welcome.
