Missing Moniteau County man now at home and safe

The California Police Department has canceled an Endangered Person Advisory for a Moniteau County man who has returned home after being reported missing.

Jeffrey David Wilson, 55, of California, was reported missing from his residence on Monday. The advisory stated he hadn't been seen since May 13 when he missed a doctor's appointment.

On Wednesday, authorities issued an update stating "Wilson returned home and is safe."

The California Police Department has issued an Endangered Person Advisory for a missing person.

Jeffrey David Wilson, a white man, age 55, was last seen at 9:36 a.m. May 13 at 1506 South Roache Street in California.

Wilson failed to attend a doctor's appointment last Wednesday afternoon. When his wife returned home, she indicated he was not home and a blanket, stocking cap and handgun were missing from the residence.

Wilson is believed to be suicidal and did not take his medication with him.

There is no known direction of travel or destination.

Wilson is 6-foot-4, 300 pounds, with gray hair and green eyes, and drives a red 1997 Ford F150 extended cab bearing MO, JCWTTA.
