A Fulton man was hurt Sunday night in a motorcycle crash at a Holts Summit interchange.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported Rodney D. Nettles, 26, was transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of moderate injuries following the 7 p.m. wreck on U.S. 54 at Summit Drive.

The patrol said he was traveling eastbound when the motorcycle failed to negotiate an exit ramp, skidded off the right side of the roadway and overturned. He was wearing a helmet at the time.

Nettles was cited for driving while intoxicated, driving while revoked, no motorcycle endorsement, no insurance and failing to drive on the right half of the roadway, according to a patrol arrest report.
