The following are Mid-Missouri school cancellations and announcements related to the novel coronavirus outbreak.

COLE COUNTY

All public and non-public schools in Cole County have extended school closures through April 10. This includes:

Blair Oaks R-2 School District

Calvary Lutheran High School

Cole R-1 School District in Russellville

Cole R-5 School District in Eugene

Helias Catholic High School

Immaculate Conception School

Immanuel Lutheran School

Jefferson City School District

Lighthouse Preparatory Academy

River Oak Christian Academy

St. Francis Xavier School in Taos

St. Joseph Cathedral School

St. Martin School in St. Martins

St. Peter Interparish School

St. Stanislaus School in Wardsville

St. Thomas School in St. Thomas

Trinity Lutheran School, and

Our Lady of the Snows Catholic School in Marys Home

Lincoln University closed its Jefferson City campus through April 12, means classes will continue remotely and only essential employees will be allowed on campus. Athletic events have been suspended indefinitely for the Lincoln Blue Tigers. Graduation has been postponed to Aug. 1

BOONE AND CALLAWAY COUNTIES

Fulton Public Schools will be closed March 18 through April 24.

New Bloomfield R-3 School District will be closed March 18 through April 24.

North Callaway R-1 School District will suspend classes March 19 until April 28.

South Callaway R-2 School District will be closed March 18 through April 3.

University of Missouri System officials report all four universities in the system will conduct remote courses for the remainder of the spring 2020 semester, extending the recently announced suspension of in-person classes. Universities will remain open to ensure students who need access to dining and housing, library resources or broadband are accommodated. Recreational centers and complexes will be closed.

Westminster College: The college will implement its Digital Blue Distance Learning Plan using school-issued iPads during the week of March 23, with an anticipated campus return date of March 28. All college-sponsored spring break trips have been canceled. The C.S. Lewis Legacy Lecture originally scheduled for April 2 has been canceled. The Brauer Lecture originally scheduled for April 17 has tentatively been rescheduled for spring 2021.

William Woods University: All academic classes and cohorts will be moved online for the remainder of the spring semester, effective March 16.

MARIES COUNTY

Maries County R-1 Schools at Vienna will be closed through April 24. All extra-curricular activities are postponed until further notice. All facilities are closed to any and all groups until further notice.

MILLER COUNTY

Eldon R-1 School District will close March 20 until April 6.

St. Elizabeth R-4 School will be closed through April 13, an extension that was announced on March 31.

Iberia R-5 Schools extended its closure to April 27. All school activities and events are canceled during that time. Kindergarten registration is postponed with new dates to be determined later. Information regarding meal delivery services for students during closure is available at iberia.k12.mo.us/article/212481.

School of the Osage extended its closure to no earlier than an April 30 opening, which was announced in a superintendent's message.

MONITEAU COUNTY

Jamestown C-1 School District announced an extended closure beginning March 18 and extending through April 3.

OSAGE COUNTY

Osage County R-1 School District closed its schools through April 14.

State Technical College of Missouri will not have any on-campus classes this week, and online classes will start March 30. Graduation has been postponed to May 30. State Tech's Spring Open House scheduled for March 28 has been postponed. The Missouri SkillsUSA Contest scheduled for April 3-5  on the State Tech campus has be postponed.
