United Credit Union is introducing a mobile banking van.

A new mobile branch of United Credit Union rolled into Fulton on Wednesday for a ribbon cutting held by the Callaway Chamber of Commerce.

Since the mobile branch rolled out this summer, it has stopped in Callaway County several times.

The vehicle, a white van decorated with pictures of $100 bills on the side, offers the same services as the Fulton location on Business 54. Clients can step inside the small office space. It also includes an ATM.

United Credit Union has locations in Mexico, Vandalia, Moberly, Troy, Columbia and Fulton. The mobile branch will help the business expand its services.

The van also recently came in handy during a power outage in Vandalia. The mobile branch can run on a generator.

"We post on Facebook when and where we are taking it," marketing coordinator Jessica Herndon said.
