CCSO arrests nine on numerous charges

The Callaway County Sheriff's Office recently arrested nine individuals on an assortment of charges, according to a department press release.

A CCSO deputy was travelling on U.S. 54 near County Road 176 at 3:18 a.m. Monday and stopped Noelle Cook, 36, of Florrisant, for driving eastbound in the westbound lanes. The CCSO's K-9 Iro responded to assist during the traffic stop, leading to the recovery of methamphetamine.

Cook was arrested and taken to the Callaway County Jail, where she was booked for felony possession of a controlled substance and released on a court summons.

A CCSO deputy was patrolling County Road 260 at 8:29 p.m. Sunday and stopped Daniel Nash, 47, of Kingdom City, for a traffic violation. The CCSO's K-9 Iro responded to assist during the traffic stop, and methamphetamine was recovered.

Nash was arrested and taken to the Callaway County Jail, where he was booked for felony possession of a controlled substance. He posted a $10,000 bond and was released pending a court appearance.

CCSO deputies at 1:18 p.m. Sunday investigated a disturbance in the 1300 block of U.S. 54 and came in contact with Robert Morgan, 44, of Vandalia. Morgan was wanted by the Missouri Department of Corrections for felony probation violations in Audrain County.

He was arrested and taken to the Callaway County Jail, where he was booked and is being held without bond pending his transfer to Audrain County.

CCSO deputies - along with the Fulton Police Department - at 8:21 a.m. Sunday investigated a disturbance along I-70 near the Williamsburg interchange. During the investigation, it was determined the victim had been stabbed multiple times with a fork.

Laporscha Mondaine, 29, of Kansas City, was arrested and later charged by the Callaway County prosecuting attorney with third-degree felony domestic assault. Mondaine was booked at the Callaway County Jail, where she remains in custody on a $4,500 bond.

Jason Lewis, 38, of Raytown - another occupant of the vehicle - was arrested on a Cass County warrant for felony possession of a controlled substance. Lewis remains in custody at the Callaway County Jail on a $750 cash-only bond.

During the investigation, deputies also recovered a vehicle that had been stolen in Kansas City. The investigation continues and further arrests and charges are possible.

CCSO deputies conducted a criminal investigation at 12:51 a.m. June 28 in the 3000 block of County Road 211 in Kingdom City and came in contact with Randall Moore, 50, of Fulton.

Deputies recovered methamphetamine and arrested Moore, who was taken to the Callaway County Jail and booked for felony possession of a controlled substance. He posted a $4,500 bond and was released pending a court appearance.

CCSO deputies conducted a criminal investigation at 3:28 p.m. Thursdayv on County Road 409 and came into contact with Gabriel Horstman, 40, of Columbia. Horstman was wanted on a felony Callaway County warrant for probation violation on an assault charge.

He was arrested and taken to the Callaway County Jail, where he posted a $25,000 bond and was released.

CCSO deputies conducted a criminal investigation at 3:24 p.m. June 22 in the 3000 block of Gold Road in Kingdom City and came into contact with Austin Martell, 19, of Kingdom City.

Martell was wanted on an Audrain County felony warrant for burglary. He was arrested and taken to the Callaway County Jail, where he was booked and then transferred to the custody of the Audrain County Jail.

CCSO deputies conducted a follow-up investigation concerning a felony theft offense at 4:44 p.m. June 21 along U.S. 54 in the New Bloomfield area. Matthew Haulenbeek, 29, of Centertown, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and taken to the Callaway County Jail, where he was booked for felony stealing and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Haulenbeek posted a $1,500 bond and was released pending a court appearance.
