The Fulton Police Department on Friday arrested two individuals suspected of stealing a package thanks to help from alert neighbors.

Police arrived in the area of Highland and Route Z at 3:15 p.m. Thursday following the report of a package being swiped from the front porch of a residence. A neighbor snapped pictures of the suspects' vehicle and license plates.

According to the FPD, witnesses told police the vehicle's occupants were following a delivery truck and fled the area after taking the package. Police located the vehicle Friday near Bluff and East First streets.

Police arrested Sierra Crabtree, 23, of Vienna, and James Miller, 29, of Jefferson City. The two were later released on summons.

"Fulton Police would like to thank the vigilant neighborhood for sharing their images with officers to assist in making this arrest," the FPD press release added.
