Two people were injured Wednesday afternoon when then their vehicles collided on a divided highway in Callaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported Vicky H. Carter, 70, of Fulton, was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of U.S. 54 three miles north of Kingdom City when her vehicle struck a westbound vehicle driven by Laquent S. Palmer, 36, of Mexico.
Carter received minor injuries and was transported to Boone Hospital Center in Columbia. Palmer sustained moderate injuries and was transported to University Hospital in Columbia.
