Fulton FBLA excels at district contests

<p>Submitted</p><p>On Friday, Fulton Future Business Leaders of America, along with 16 other schools, participated in the Missouri District 2 competition. Twenty-five members of Fulton’s chapter participated in more than 50 events. Students qualifying for state included: Savannah Bethell, Hope Gowin and Tori Stiers — first place in Banking & Finance; Paige Key and Haisley Windsor — first place in Business Ethics; Paige Key and Ellie McCray — first place in Business Plan; Hope Gowin — Client Service; Kadence Harvey and Grace Johnson — first place in Business Presentation; Mason Crane — fifth in Business Calculations, fourth in Economics, and first in Securities and Investment; Ellie McCray — fourth in Insurance and Risk Management and third in Securities and Investment; Gavin Leuther — fifth in Insurance and Risk Management; Kamden Nolte — Introduction to FBLA; Boone Teel — third place in Introduction to Parli Pro; Tori Stiers — fifth place in Organizational Leadership; and Jackson Caswell — fifth in Securities and Investment. Others placing in the top five included Julianna Gish and Tori Stiers — fifth Place in Marketing; Haisley Windsor — second Place in Public Speaking; Eva Dawson — fifth place in Word Processing; Julianna Gish — seventh place in Insurance and Risk Management; Grace Johnson — eighth in Introduction to FBLA; Cameron Lee — seventh place in Introduction to Parli Pro; Paige Key — sixth in Personal Finance; and Gavin Leuther — sixth place in Securities and Investment FBLA District 2 Advisers Gina McLachlan and Tia Draffen accompanied the group.
