On Tuesday, the Missouri Department of Corrections announced the death of a Fulton Reception and Diagnostic Center inmate.
Randall Tangen, 58, was pronounced dead at 11:15 a.m. Sunday at University Hospital in Columbia. The DOC press release did not specify a cause of death but stated an autopsy would be conducted.
Tangen, originally from Underwood, North Dakota, was serving a 10-year sentence for first- and second-degree burglary from Saline County. He was first received by the DOC on Aug. 12, 2016.
