Every year, the Callaway County chapter of the Mizzou Alumni Association collects and donates toys to local children through Central Missouri Community Action in Fulton.
"It's just our chapter's effort to collect some toys and give them to the kids of the community," chapter President Gary Cunningham said.
This years haul of Mizzou-themed toys and soft, stuffed tigers was delivered Wednesday to Fulton Head Start.
Fulton Head Start will distribute the toys - head start operations administrator Lisa Cumins and CMCA community organizer Kellie Pontius were on hand to accept the donations.
"This sponsorship not only brings cheer to the kiddos in Callaway County but also a great reminder of the educational opportunities available at any age," Pontius said in an email.
