Q: What was your first job?

I worked at Sonic Drive-In here in town as a car-hop.

Q: Who inspires you most?

My faith inspires me most.

Q: What is something you are proud of?

I have four beautiful children and a fantastic husband. I have a stepdaughter who is 24 and I have an 18-year-old, a 17-year-old and a 14-year-old.

Q: What in your life has been the most fulfilling?

Probably raising my children.

Q: If you could do any job in the world, what would it be?

Preschool teacher. I adore 3- and 4-year-old children - that age where they're just developing a personality. They're really honest about what they think, but they still fully believe in the tooth fairy and Santa Claus and unicorns.

Q: What is a job you wouldn't want to do?

Probably teaching middle school. I don't think there's enough money in the world for me to be in a middle school all day long.

Q: What is your favorite thing about Callaway County?

I love that it's big enough and covers a big area that there's lots of things to do. But still, no matter where you go, it has a very small town feel to it, no matter what community you're in in different parts of the county.
