The Class of 1969 hosted its 50th class reunion during the weekend of Sept. 28. They made a class gift to the Fulton Public Schools Foundation totaling $5,132.

This donation will go toward classroom grants next school year. During 2019, the Foundation received donations from the classes of 1947, 1964, 1969 and 1999 totaling $9,596.61.

Teachers are given the opportunity to submit applications in the spring for classroom grant projects the following school year. These grants benefit Fulton Public School children from the Early Childhood Education Center to the high school level. The teachers are able to implement fun, innovative and creative learning opportunities for the students through these grant opportunities.
