Williamsburg man arrested for meth possession

A Williamsburg man was arrested Saturday morning by the Callaway County Sheriff's Office for drug possession.

Austin Lomas, 21, was stopped by a CCSO deputy at 3:59 a.m. for a traffic violation near Route Z and Route JJ in Calwood. According to the CCSO, during the traffic stop investigation, Lomas was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, a firearm and drug paraphernalia related to the sale of drugs.

Lomas was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail for probable cause offenses of felony delivery of a controlled substance, felony unlawful use of a weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the report. As of Monday, Lomas was being held in the jail without bond, pending court review.
