Q. What was your first job?

A. I worked at the Fulton Bowling Center. I just worked the snack bar at the front counter. Pretty typical first job.

Q. Who most inspires you (living or dead)?

A. Well, I'd probably have to go with someone living, and that would be my grandma. I don't really know if there's any specific reason behind it other than she's my grandma.

Q. What have you done in life that was most fulfilling?

A. It's definitely been taking care of the older people (at Fulton Presbyterian Manor). Working as a CNA has been very fulfilling.

Q. What is something you are proud of that you have been recognized for?

A. Well, I've gotten employee of the month a couple of times since I started at Fulton Presbyterian Manor. Those definitely made me feel proud to earn those.

Q. What profession, other than your own, would you like to attempt?

A. I'd love to be a registered nurse. I'm actually working my way to get to that point now. It just takes time.

Q. What profession would you not like to do?

A. (Laughs) That's a good question. I know that I would not want to be a welder. I just know that I wouldn't like it because it looks like way too much work.

Q. What is something that nobody would be able to assume about you?

A. I don't think people would be able to guess that I'm a mother of four kids. They're actually just down the block playing right now. They're the ones you probably hear yelling "Mom!" at me.

Q. What is your favorite thing about Callaway County?

A. I love how the community likes to come together for all of these different things, especially right now with (Lowen Goosey) being in the hospital. Also, there's not a lot of people, so we basically all know each other because the community is little.
