Chicago man arrested for alleged drug trafficking

KINGDOM CITY, Mo. - A Chicago man was arrested Tuesday in Kingdom City with large quantities of heroin and cocaine, according to the Callaway County Sheriff's Office.

Dossie Richmond, 59, faces two charges of second-degree drug trafficking.

At 2:23 a.m. Tuesday, a K9 unit patrolling the Kingdom City area stopped a vehicle on U.S. 54 (near County Road 210, south of Kingdom City) for a traffic violation. Vehicle passenger Richmond was found to be in possession of "heroin, crack cocaine and other substances" with an estimated street value of $53,470, the CCSO stated.

Richmond was arrested and taken to the Callaway County Jail. His bond has been set at $25,000.
