FPD arrests wanted fugitive

The Fulton Police Department arrested a wanted fugitive Tuesday in Fulton.

At 4:30 p.m., the FPD responded to 545 Amerihost Drive. At the residence, officers arrested William Galbreath Jr. for six felony warrants in multiple counties. Galbreath was wanted in Callaway County for four failures to appear in court, in Audrain County for a failure to appear on first-degree burglary charges and in Boone County for failing to appear in court. Additionally, according to the FPD, while Galbreath was being arrested he resisted by attemping to run from officers. After officers secured Galbreath, he was also charged with an additonal felony resisting arrest.

Four of his charges add up to a total bond of $49,500 while the three other charges are no bond. Galbreath was transported to the Callaway County Jail.
