A Fulton man was arrested Tuesday for possessing large amounts of drugs, according to the Fulton Police Department.

At about 6:07 a.m. Tuesday, the FPD, along with the Callaway County Sheriff's Office, assisted the Mustang Drug Task Force in executing a narcotics search warrant in the 1500 block of Ewing street in Fulton.

During the search, officers located a large amount of a crystal-like substance (methamphetamine), numerous pills, drug paraphernalia and an undisclosed amount of money.

Antonio Jerome Beard, 43, was arrested for second-degree trafficking, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Beard was transported to the Callaway County jail to await a bond setting.

Previously, Beard was arrested in mid-October following a similar search law enforcement at the same location. During that search, officers located a large amount of crystal methamphetamine, numerous pills, numerous THC vape cartridges, an undisclosed amount of money and a firearm. Beard was arrested following that search for first-degree trafficking, three counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a weapon.
