Law enforcement in Cole County and Fulton are seeking public assistance in two cases.

On Friday morning, locals reported five commercial burglaries throughout Fulton to the Fulton Police Department.

One of the break-ins took place at a restaurant in the 1200 block of SouthBusiness 54, where a suspect broke in through a window and swiped a number of items. Fulton police were able to obtain images of the suspect from the business's video surveillance, and officers are requesting public aid in identifying those involved in the burglaries.

Anyone with any information should call the Fulton Police Department (573-592-3100), Crime Stoppers (573-592-2474) or your local law enforcement agency.

Separately, the Cole County Sheriff's Office is seeking Sandy Gallaspie, a 58-year-old white male. Gallaspie is wanted in Cole County for failure to appear (with an original charge of receiving stolen property) on two failure-to-appear warrants from Callaway County related to a burglary.

He is also a person of interest in an ongoing missing person case.

Jefferson City Area Crime Stoppers is offering a $500 reward for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information should visit jeffcitycrimestoppers.com or call 573-659-8477.
