Callaway County Sheriff's Office busts three on stealing offenses

The Callaway County Sheriff's Office charged multiple people on stealing-related offenses after conducting investigations throughout the county.

Rebecca Graham, 35, of Clark, has been charged with the felony offense of tampering with a motor vehicle as well as trespassing. Graham was in the custody of the Missouri Department of Corrections and will be extradited to Callaway County when applicable. Deputies were involved in a vehicle pursuit with Graham on Aug. 21. According to the CCSO, deputies attempted to stop Graham on U.S. 54 in Kingdom City. She eluded officers after driving through several crop fields in the Hatton area. On Aug. 23, Graham stole a vehicle on County Road 263 near Hatton. The vehicle was recovered within two hours in Boone County. Graham was later captured in Randolph County.

Dustin Wheeler, 31, of Columbia, has been charged with the felony offense of attempted stealing of a motor vehicle as well as other stealing and property damage offenses. Wheeler was in the custody of the MDC and will be extradited to Callaway County when applicable. The charges result of an investigation conducted by the CCSO, assisted by the Fulton Police Department, in Fulton. According to the CCSO, Wheeler is charged with attempting to steal a motor vehicle at a business on Gaylord Drive in Fulton.

Skyler Dingwell, 25, of Columbia, has been charged with the felony offense of attempted stealing of a motor vehicle as well as other stealing and property damage offenses. The charges are the result of investigations conducted by the CCSO in Fulton and the Millersburg area. According to the CCSO, Dingwell is charged with attempting to steal a motor vehicle at a business on Gaylord Drive in Fulton. Additionally, the CCSO charged Dingwell with stealing items from a business in the 4000 block of Route J in Millersburg. Dingwell's next scheduled court appearance is Jan. 17, 2020.
