Members of First Christian Church spent November collecting items for Patriot Packages, a program operating out of the Warrenton National Guard armory. Organizer Ginger Beasley said Patriot Packages sends 200 care packages per month to active-duty troops. Beasley volunteers with the organization regularly and said she was pleased by FCC’s response. “It was just so impressive to see the things piling up,” she said.
