MOKANE, Mo. — A Steedman teen was arrested Wednesday following a Callaway County Sheriff's Office investigation in Mokane.

Deputies arrived at 1:52 a.m. in the 300 block of Oak Street in Mokane. During the investigation, they recovered an ATV that had been reported stolen Aug. 10 from the area of Route NN.

During the course of the Mokane investigation, deputies arrested Jamon Otey, 19. At the time of arrest, Otey was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, according to the arrest report.

Otey was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he was booked and processed for the felony offenses of receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled substance. Otey later posted $9,500 bond and was released pending a court appearance.
