Fulton police arrested three people Wednesday, including two wanted persons, said Sgt. Tim Howell of the Fulton Police Department.

Cale A. Larkin, 31, of Boonville was arrested for an active Callaway County failure-to-appear warrant. Denver L. Newland, 19, of Linn was arrested for a Cole County failure-to-appear warrant an resisting arrest. Christina L. Preston, 33, of Jefferson City was arrested for interfering with a felony arrest.

At 7:54 p.m. Wednesday, police received a report of careless and imprudent driving on Hawklake Drive, Howell said. Police found the suspected vehicle behind a property on Hawklake Drive, and while investigating, made contact with and subsequently arrested Larkin.

Continuing the investigation, officers found Newland and Preston inside a camper, Howell said. The investigating officers realized Newland had a warrant for his arrest. However, he and Preston refused to leave the camper, Howell stated.

Officers entered the camper and arrested the two.

All were brought to the Callaway County Jail. Larkin's bond was set at $97, Newland's at $11,500 and Preston's at $1,500, Howell added.
