Smoke prompts evacuation of high school

Fulton High School was evacuated Wednesday morning after a fire alarm sounded in the library.
According to Karen Snethen, community relations director with the district, the students and staff were evacuated immediately, and the fire department was called.
Snethen said there was no fire.
"There was smoke in the library due to the laminator," she said.
After the short evacuation, students and staff entered the building and resumed their day as usual. There was no property damage and no reported injuries, Snethen added.
