Cole County reports 4th COVID-19 case

The Cole County Health Department on Sunday reported a fourth person in the county has tested positive for COVID-19.

CCHD Director Kristi Campbell said the person is is quarantined and not in a hospital. She said she couldn't say more about the person, including the age, sex, hometown or health status.

"We're still doing an investigation and contacting people who could be affected," she said.

As for the other three county residents who have tested positive, she said the first two are doing well. She doesn't know about the third.

The first two, she said, are almost to the point they could be retested to see if they now test negative. Two such tests are needed.
