SC girls track and field’s Pahl wins four events in Russellville Open Track Meet

RUSSELLVILLE -- South Callaway girls track and field finished third, and New Bloomfield took seventh out of 13 teams in the Russellville Open Track Meet Tuesday at Russellville High School.

The Lady Bulldogs scored 68½ points, 109½ away from first-place Harrisburg, and the Lady Wildcats tallied 39.

Between South Callaway and New Bloomfield, Lady Bulldog Reece Pahl earned all four goal medals, winning the 100-meter dash (12.90 seconds), 200 dash (:27.10), high jump (4 feet and 10.27 inches -- personal record) and long jump (16-8.79).

The Lady Wildcats' 4x100 relay placed second at :55.90.

Rounding out South Callaway's six medalist performances, Kelsey Wetherell received bronze in the high jump (4-7.91) and Madelyn Radmacher bronze in the pole vault (7-6.55).

Half of New Bloomfield's four third-place showings were from its relay teams, 4x200 (2:08.17) and 4x800 (12:18.14). Lady Wildcat Addison Baker took third in the 400 dash (1:06.70), and Addyson Werdehausen third in the javelin (88-3.06).

The Lady Bulldogs compete in the Blair Oaks Invitational at 3:15 p.m. Thursday at Blair Oaks High School in Wardsville.

New Bloomfield hosts the New Bloomfield Wildcat Relays at 2 p.m. Friday at New Bloomfield High School.
