If the Missouri men’s basketball team is going to pick up a home conference win this season, tonight is its last chance.

Missouri has dropped its past 16 games -- all Southeastern Conference contests -- heading into tonight’s game against No. 13 Auburn at Mizzou Arena. Game time is 8 p.m. (SEC Network) for the Senior Night contest.

Sean East of Missouri enters the final week of the season fifth in the conference in scoring at 17.5 points per game. East scored 27 points Saturday night in an 84-78 home loss to Mississippi. Tamar Bates is averaging 15.1 points in Missouri’s last 10 games.

Auburn (22-7, 11-5) is just 4-5 in true road games this season and has won six of its last 10 games overall.

Johni Broome (6-foot-10, jr.) tops three Auburn players averaging in double figures at 16.3 points, good for ninth in the conference. He tops the team and is second in the SEC with 8.6 rebounds per contest.

Jaylin Williams (6-8, graduate student) is next at 12.8, while Chad Baker-Mazara (6-7, jr.) is averaging 10.2.

Auburn is fourth in the SEC in scoring at 82.6 points per game and third in defense in allowing 68 points.

Auburn has won the last three meetings in the series. It’s the first meeting of the season between the teams.

Missouri will end the regular season Saturday night at LSU.

The Tigers will start Southeastern Conference Tournament play next Wednesday in Nashville, Tenn. The Tigers will be the No. 14 seed and will take on the No. 11 seed at 8:30 p.m.
