Two individuals were arrested after deputies seized methamphetamine at a traffic stop on Friday.
A Callaway County Sheriff's Office release states deputies conducted a traffic stop at 9:51 a.m. Friday near U.S. Highway 54 and State Road HH in Fulton.
After deploying K9 Tajfun to sniff around the vehicle, deputies determined there was probable cause to search the vehicle.
Deputies recovered 84 grams, or about 3 ounces, of methamphetamine from the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle, Shelain Whetstine, 42, was arrested and charged with trafficking a controlled substance. Whetstine was charged with second-degree drug trafficking later in the day. Her bond is set at $75,000.
Whetstine was on supervised probation at the time of her arrest.
The vehicle's passenger, Chase Grimes, 21, was arrested for drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. He was released with a court date pending.
