MSD track and field competes in Vienna Black and Gold Invitational

VIENNA, Mo. -- Missouri School for the Deaf track and field competed in the Vienna Black and Gold Invitational Tuesday at Vienna High School.

Eight Eagles took part in the invite, six boys and two girls.

MSD boys Mican Luttrell competed in the 100-meter dash (16.03 seconds), 400 dash (1:27.35), discus (45 feet and 6.06 inches) and shot put (20-4.49), and Trevor Lillard-Morris participated in the 110 hurdles (19.82), 800 run (2:34.44), 1,600 run (5:35.39) and javelin (73-11.8).

All four on MSD's 4x100 (59.9) and 4x200 (2:05.46) relay teams, Caleb Campbell threw the javelin 66-11.15 and discus 45-6.06, Ethen Orick leaped 4-11.84 in the high jump and hurled the javelin 82-11.67, James Ignacio went 16-6.03 in the long jump and clocked in at 13.22 in the 100 dash and Jesse Cancinos reached 13-10.54 in the long jump and finished in 14.22 in the 100 dash.

On the girls side, the Eagles' Chloe Luke competed in the 100 dash (19.94), shot put (15-1.1) and discus (35-0.87), and Ja'Kaida Smith in the 200 dash (32.4), 100 dash (14.78), javelin (76-7.29) and high jump (4-3.97).

MSD attends the Cuba Invitational at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Cuba High School.
