South Callaway MS boys T&F’s Willenburg wins 100 hurdles at Fulton Invitational

FULTON -- Braydon Willenburg won the 100-meter hurdles for South Callaway boys track and field in the Fulton Middle School Invitational Monday at Fulton High School.

Willenburg's winning time in the 100 hurdles was a personal record of 16.84 seconds.

South Callaway recorded five top-three finishes, setting a PR in each.

The Bulldogs took third in two relays, with their 4x100 team of Parker Pahl, Josh Bell, Evan Fort and Brock Caruthers (52.84) and 4x200 of Pahl, Bell, Gavin Buschdiecker and Caruthers (1:53.5) doing that.

Also finishing third for South Callaway were Austin Davis in the 1,600 run (5:58) and Caruthers in the triple jump (34 feet and 4¼ inches).

"Awesome job today at Fulton by our middle school Bulldogs!" South Callaway track and field coach Stephen Wisch said. "Love to see this many PRs and top marks for our athletes."

The Bulldogs host the South Callaway MS Invitational at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at South Callaway High School in Mokane.
