Lane to close for rehabilitation work on Route H bridge

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) will soon begin rehabilitation work on a Route H bridge.

The bridge is located on Callaway County Route H over U.S. Route 54.

Work is scheduled to begin Monday, April 8. MoDOT expects work to continue until mid-July.

In a release, MoDOT states one lane of the bridge will remain open to traffic during the work period. Traffic signals will be in place to get drivers through the area.

Drivers are advised to expect delays during peak traffic hours over the bridge.

MoDOT will install deck repairs, a concrete overlay and new protective coating to the 45-year-old bridge, MoDOT said in a release.
