Fulton boys soccer’s Mahoro, Holland and Henley named all-region

The Fulton Hornets' Christian Mahoro, Luke Holland and Lane Henley were named in the Class 2 Region 2 all-region team, announced the Missouri High School Soccer Coaches Association Monday.

Mahoro was included as a midfielder and also earned a superlative, receiving offensive player of the year. He ended the season with 34 goals and 17 assists.

Holland was selected as a forward and was one of two sophomores on the all-region team. He tallied 23 goals and 21 assists this season.

Lane Henley, the only freshman on the all-region team, was included as a defender. He recorded 22 goals and nine assists this season.

"I'm super proud of these three guys for making the all-region team," Fulton boys soccer coach Joel Henley said. "Christian being selected as the offensive player of the year in the region is a huge honor. This is the first time in seven years that I have been the coach that we have had a player of the year winner. These three guys did a great job for us this year and are a part of a larger group of players that came together to put together a great season."
