Garry Melton was recently promoted to senior vice president at The Callaway Bank.
The appointment comes from The Callaway Bank's Board of Directors.
Melton has been a commercial and agriculture lender, where he has been responsible to develop and service relationships in the areas of Audrain and Callaway Counties.
"Garry's tenure with The Callaway Bank has been filled with strong business development, teamwork, sharing of skills and knowledge, outstanding customer service, encouragement of others, and so much more," Kim Barnes, The Callaway Bank president and CEO, said in a release.
Melton received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. While there, he focused on agronomy, agriculture economics and animal science.
He has 40 years of experience in agriculture and commercial lending, with 23 years being in the Martinsburg and Mexico areas.
Melton lives in Mexico with his wife, Kristy, and their three sons -- Cody, Kade and Jared.
His office is located in The Callaway Bank's branch in the Brick District on the corner of Court and Fifth Streets.
He joined The Callaway Bank in April 2018 as a vice president and agriculture and commercial lender.
