Westminster football’s Brandt, Fowler and Miller named All-UMAC

The Westminster College Blue Jays' Dawson Brandt, Darvin Fowler and Devin Miller were named to the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference's All-UMAC teams, announced Westminster Athletics via X Thursday.

Additionally, Westminster's Deacon Steadman was included in the all-sportsmanship team.

Brandt, an Eldon graduate, made the All-UMAC defensive first team, tallying 78 tackles, 9½ tackles for loss, four interceptions and one sack in nine games as a linebacker this season -- he led Westminster in tackles and interceptions.

In his first season with the Blue Jays, Fowler was included in the All-UMAC defensive second team, notching 32 tackles, 11½ tackles for loss and a team-high six sacks in nine games as a defensive lineman this season.

Miller received All-UMAC defensive second team, recording 53 tackles, 16½ tackles for loss (team-high) and four sacks in nine games as a defensive lineman this season.

The 2023 season was Brandt's final college campaign, while Fowler will return for his sophomore season and Miller for his senior year.
