State law to codify equal parenting time in child custody cases

Parents fighting child custody cases in Missouri will initially be given equal parenting time under a bill awaiting the governor's signature.

The state General Assembly passed a bill last month that sets "equal or approximately equal parenting time" as the starting point in child custody cases.
