The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) and the National Deer Association of Missouri have partnered together to host a Missouri Statewide Landowner Cooperative Meeting.

The meeting will be June 23 and 24 in Fulton.

On June 23, the event will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a social hour at Fulton Wursthaus (5009 Pendergrass Road.).

On June 24, meeting participants will meet at Bachelor Creek Cooperative (2000 County Road 1051) in Montgomery City.

The meeting will last all day.

At the landowner meeting, several conservation partners will present to participants about several subjects.

Topics for discussion include managing private land for deer habitat, turkey habitat, wetlands, and more, a MDC release states.

The event is free to the public. Each participant is responsible for providing their own meals and lodging.

Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather. Portions of the June 24 activities will be outdoors.

For more information or assistance with lodging, contact Cheyne Matzenbacher at [email protected].

The National Deer Association is seeking participants who can supply at UTV or side-by-side for the event. If possible, bring your vehicle to the field tour portion of the event on June 24.

If you can't provide your own vehicle, transportation will be provided.
