MoDOT projects continue around the county

The Missouri Department of Transportation will begin shoulder work next week in southern Callaway County.

The US 54 West ramp to Route AA westbound in Holts Summit will begin shoulder work on May 22. Construction is expected to be completed on May 26. Work will occur between 6:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. only on weekdays.

Simon Boulevard eastbound and westbound will also have shoulder work completed. These projects will begin May 22 and finish on June 2. Work will occur between 6:30 a.m.-5 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays.

In Portland, culvert replacement on MO-94 eastbound and westbound is ongoing. This project began May 8 and is expected to be completed on May 26. Work will be conducted on weekdays from 6 a.m.-3 p.m.

Work is continuing in east Callaway County at I-70 eastbound near Williamsburg. MoDOT is currently working on guard rail and cable work in the area. This began May 2 and is expected to be completed Nov. 1. Work on this project will be from 7 a.m.-4 p.m. on weekdays.

Drivers in the Williamsburg area near the Montgomery County line can also expect delays from projects in New Florence. Pavement resurfacing on I-70 eastbound and westbound could impact traffic in the area. This project began Feb. 13 and is expected to be completed on June 30. Work on this project will be from overnight from 8 p.m.-6 a.m. on weekdays.
