SPRINGFIELD -- North Callaway's Davis Althiser finished tied for 46th out of over 80 golfers in the Class 2 state tournament Tuesday at Rivercut Golf Course.
Improving his score by a stroke in Round 2, the Thunderbirds' Althiser carded a 19-under-par 91, putting him at 39-over 183 for the tournament.
Summit Christian Academy's Peyton Smith topped the individual leaderboard, singing for a 142; he shot a 70 in Round 1 and 72 in Round 2.
