Fulton track and field sends two to sectionals before postponement

WENTZVILLE -- Fulton's girls track and field team sits seventh out of nine, boys ninth out of nine after Saturday's events in the Class 4 District 4 meet at North Point High School.

The Hornets girls scored 39 points, putting it 89.5 back of leader St. Dominic. Fulton's boys notched 23, 104 behind first-place Hannibal.

Two Fulton girls athletes made all-district: Ava Santhuff took fourth in the 1,600-meter run (6 minutes, 7.77 seconds), and Audrey Arnold finished fourth in the high jump (4 feet, 7.12 inches).

After two lengthy weather delays, the remaining field events in the Class 4 District 4 meet were postponed to 10 a.m. Monday at Montgomery County High School.
