Fulton track and field records 10 all-conference finishes

MARSHALL -- The Fulton Hornets tallied 10 all-conference finishes in the NCMC Track Meet Friday at Marshall High School.

Fulton's boys team placed third out of six with 98 points, while the girls took fourth out of six with 48. Hannibal won the boys' title with 203 points and Moberly the girls' with 183.

The Hornets' boys' all-conference placings were Gabe DeFily taking second in the high jump (5-10.87), third in the long jump (19-11.37) and triple jump (41-00.91), Noah Combs third in the 1,600-meter run (4 minutes, 58.07 seconds), 4x800 relay team third (9:07.34), 4x200 second (1:35.20), Kai Foster second in the 3,200 run (10:54.03) and Will Wagner-Yates first in the pole vault (10-11.89).

Fulton's girls all-conference finishers were Reagan Echelmeier, third in the javelin (104-00.43), and the 4x200 relay team second (1:53.77).

Next, Fulton will compete in the Class 4 District 4 tournament at 10 a.m. Saturday at North Point High School.
