Re-Made for a Purpose celebrated the completion of its remodel and expansion with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday.

Re-Made for a Purpose -- located at 17 West 5th St. -- recently remodeled and expanded the storefront with a grant received from State Farm.

Re-Made for a Purpose is a resale boutique that employs adults with disabilities.

The business applied for the State Farm Neighborhood Assist Grant in 2022. People voted for Re-made for a Purpose, and it was one of 100 winners of the grant.

The grant was for $25,000.

The remodel made the store more accessible, and added more space for both customers and employees. The plumbing system was also redone.
