EUGENE -- South Callaway boys golf's Tanner Marty led the Bulldogs with an eighth-place finish in the Russellville Golf Tournament Wednesday at Redfield Golf Course.
To take eighth, Marty carded a 10-over-par 82. Following Marty, South Callaway's Caleb Pezold shot a 107, Corbin Danuser 110 and Hunter Smith 115.
"We are excited to have our first top 10 finisher of the season," South Callaway coach Collin Byrd said. "We are looking forward to the next tournament in hopes to bring down our overall team score."
Next, South Callaway will tee off in the Versailles Invitational Wednesday in Versailles.
