William Woods men’s tennis moves to #5 in latest NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 poll

KANSAS CITY -- The William Woods University men's tennis team moved up one spot to break into the Top 5 in the third NAIA Men's Tennis Coaches' Top 25 poll, announced the national office Wednesday.

This is the highest ranking the Owls have received since midway through the 2018-19 season. The Owls' highest ranking in program history was fourth in the third poll of 2018-19.

The Owls moved up one spot after sitting on a five-match winning streak. They are currently 12-3 on the season with seven wins over ranked opponents.

The Owls have seven matches left, including three NCAA Division II schools and one ranked NAIA school. Next up for the Owls is a home match versus Judson University starting at 9 a.m. Saturday.
