(#6) William Woods men’s tennis extends win streak to five, sweeps (RV) Midland

ST. LOUIS -- The No. 6 William Woods University men's tennis team swept receiving votes Midland Saturday evening, 4-0. With their five-match win streak, the Owls improve to 12-3 on the season.

Singles

Vaclav Schneider won 6-1, 6-1 in the ones.

Zinovii Nahirniak defeated his opponent in the threes, 6-3, 6-3.

Patrick Shelepov won the match-clinching point in the fours, 6-1, 6-2.

Doubles

Midland grabbed the first doubles point with an intense 7-6 (8-6) win over Schneider and Ben Grumley.

Shelepov and Nahirniak evened the score with a 7-6 (7-5) win in the twos.

Andres De Los Rios Kolejewska and Robert Schorr clinched the doubles point with a 6-1 win in the threes.
