MoDOT continues county projects, begins bridge construction

Missouri Department of Transportation continues working on projects around Callaway County, as well as beginning new projects.

Route J southbound and northbound near Little Dixie Lake will begin bridge construction on June 12. This will affect both lanes of traffic.

This project is expected to be completed on Sept. 5.

Work will be conducted seven days a week. MoDOT warns drivers that traffic may be impacted 24 hours a day.

Guard rail and cable work on I-70 eastbound and westbound near Kingdom City began June 6.

Work was conducted on the project from 12-6 a.m. Only one day was scheduled for work on this project.

Drivers should continue to expect delays on I-70 eastbound near Williamsburg. MoDOT is working on diamond grinding. Work on this project began May 16, and is scheduled for completion on Nov. 1.

Work will be conducted between 7 p.m.-6 a.m. on weekdays only.

MoDOT is also working on guard rail and cable work on the I-70 eastbound lanes near Williamsburg. This project began May 2, and is scheduled to be finished on Nov. 1.

Work will be conducted between 7 a.m.-4 p.m. on weekdays only.

Construction is continuing in Holts Summit, where a new roundabout is being built.

Ramp US54E to RTAA eastbound is closed. Ramp RTAA to US54E is also closed.

Work began May 28, and is expected to be finished June 28.
