William Woods women’s tennis ranks 22nd in NAIA Top 25 preseason poll

The William Woods University women's tennis team, ranked 22nd in the NAIA Women's Tennis Top 25 Preseason Poll, announced the national office Wednesday in Kansas City. The Owls earned 112 points for the 22nd rankings.

The team played in just one match during the fall season, falling to the NCAA Division II University of Missouri-St. Louis.

They will kick off the 2023 spring season on Saturday at NCAA Division II Washburn University, which ranks 15th in its preseason poll.

The 27-match schedule features two ranked NCAA Division II teams and nine ranked NAIA schools. The Owls have 16 home, five neutral and six away matches.
