Lopez signs with WWU softball

Brooke Lopez signed with William Woods University softball, announced Owls coach Tracy Gastineau.

"Brooke is a pitcher and outfielder. She has consistent velocity and command of her pitches and also shows power potential at the plate," Gastineau stated in a press release. "Her academic interests of communication and ASL will be a great fit for her here, and we feel she will be a great fit in the culture and talent of our softball program. We are excited to have her join us for the next four years."

Lopez was a four-year varsity pitcher for the Vista Murrieta Broncos. She helped lead her team to the 2021 Pioneer League Championship title. Following the season, she was selected for the all-team.

Lopez, the daughter of Todd and Jessica, intends to major in psychology while at Woods.
